everything takes place in perdido beach. the days are long and hot.

the beach: surrounded by cliffs with tons of rocks at the bottom. it is possible to scale them.

the forest: huge, green trees. very bushy. there are some hiking paths and the odd house.

the hotel: five star. very classy. pretty vacant. potential character living area.

residential homes: anything from white picket fences to trailor parks. more potential character living areas (vacant houses).

the town: modern, but rundown due to lack of maintenence. kids have taken over them and run them.
